We do not use intravenous at our clinic for Ultrasounds or X-Ray

On the day of your appointment, you may need to complete a history form before being taken into the imaging room. Once in the imaging room, you may be asked to remove jewelry or other items and to change into a hospital gown.

Depending on the type of imaging test, the technologist may insert an intravenous catheter to administer a contrast material, so that certain organs and tissues show up more clearly on the images.

Does my doctor need to see my X-rays?

Usually a written report from the radiologist is sufficient. Some doctors, however, may wish to see a copy of the study and will ask you to bring a copy with you.

How long for my Dr to get the report?

Reports take 24- 48 hours to be generated, Images are available to the doctor through our Velox portal and to the patient through pocket health to view. Patients can come into the clinic and sign a consent release form to receive a copy of the report. A disk with the images is also available to the patient with a cost to the patient of $10.00 cash
